It would cost you $35.00 a year after that to renew your domain. But that all changed in the year 2000 when the government deregulated the process in which domains could be purchased. They give you 4 hosting options to choose from.
Other advantages to hosting with DirectNIC include Unlimited Free Email Forwarding. You can create as many email addresses that you want and have them forward to any existing email address that you already have. They also have pop mail and web mail options you can upgrade to for a small fee.
